DAC with LVDS I2S input + LVDS I2S Driver

Hi everybody,

i'd like to share the little project i did in the last months.

I designed two small boards:

- A DAC with I2S input and current output.

- A Driver board to send I2S signal over an HDMI cable.

I've used the following components:

TI PCM1794 DAC
TI ds90lv047a LVDS driver
TI ds90lv048a LVDS receiver
TI REG101 3.3V and REG101 5V LDOs

All the passives are SMD 1206.

The I2S source is an Asus Xonar Essence ST soundcard.
I'll be powering the DAC with a PSU09 from Audio-GD, and feeding the current output into a passive I/V conversion board (with Lundahl LL1674 transformers) from K&K audio.

I will share the result of the experiment as soon as i will be able to test everything.

The thing works fine. I've tested it with the Xonar card and with a Pure i20 iPhone docking station.

I've used a 5m HDMI cable, so i don't know how it performs with a longer one...

I can't solve the gnd issue on P.C based measurement(sound card)system.

Have you got a tutorial please?
I'm searching to get i2s signal > transform in aes/ebu > dsp aes/ebu in
