Philips CD751 vs.Arcam Alpha 5Plus CD?

It is probably strange but to my ears the entry level Philips CD751 have more details, better separation, and more focused voices, more 3D musical sound like the heavy AA5+

I'm surprised , and this guy Fikusz Lukas seems to have the same opinion

goodplayers. the same about Marantz cd48, Marantz cd5000 or Philips CD753.
I'm really curious about other opinions.

I'm surprised he put the Sony at the top of the list, I thought it sounded very clinical.

Everyone has their own preferences and opions though.

Personally I've got an Arcam CD36.

WADIA is the best for RedBook playback.
Esoteric with external Rubidium RTC, NAKAMICHI Dragon not bad either.

EMM Labs well know leader for SACD playback.
