SONY CDP555 ESD - Selling Price?

Can anyone give me an idea of what would be a reasonable selling price for my Sony CDP555 ESD please?

I have had it from new in the late 80's (paid £999) and it is in perfect working order and great condition. I see people on some sites modding them with valves but the sound is fantastic as it is.

I am going over to PC-DAC having spent weeks digitising my CD collection.

I see there is a bit of a cult following but not sure to what level.

It had a new LASER assembly about 10 years back as the CD's skipped but its perfect now.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

One sold on eBay in November 2012 for £157.00 so that might give you some idea of what it's worth.

Ahh. thanks for the response.

Hmmm, I am a bit torn then as the quality of the unit is superb and it looks and works so well I may stick it in my office to use with headphones while working on my PC.
