Classe Audio CDP100 and Philips CD-Pro2 LF
I have a Classe Audio CDP 100 and looking at the Philips CD-Pro2 LF as a back-up/ replacement for the Philips CD-Pro that is in there now, is it a plug and play? I also saw a new metal offered as an upgrade at DAISy : CD-Pro2 module VAU1254 (CD) wonder if it will work as will, any one know.

It is completely interchangeable with earlier models. Regards

I will get one as a back-up I love the way the Classe CDP 100 sounds but it is a 2004 model. I wounder if the CD-Pro2 will fit in my old California Audio Ikon mkII ?

The CAL uses a wholly incompatible, and wildly more reliable panasonic transport unit.

In looking at the Classe, it does not appear to use a Phillips transport. You need to contact Classe and ask about the transport they used. Regards

I hard back from Classe' the CDP-100 has a VAM-1250 Pro in it and they are out of stock and the Philips CD-Pro2 LF will not interface, maybe it was the "Pro" that got me confused. anyone got a VAM-1250 Pro new in the box?
