Micromega Stage 3 CD Player

Hi,

I got a Micromega Stage 3 CD Player in good working condition.
However, when I connect it to an DAC, the player cannot work. It will display "ERR" and cannot play the disc. I have tried a few DAC and it should be the problem of the player.
I also find that the player can work in either the coaxial digital output is open or short circuited but cannot work when I just hold the plug of the other end of the coaxial digial cable by hand.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with the player?

Micromega products in general and the Stage 1,2,3,4,5,6 CD players in particular, do not have a reputation for being reliable.

Hello everyone!!!

This is my first time here.... and sorry for my bad english!

I own a Micromega Stage 3 CD-player and have now bought a Musical Fidelity X-DAC v.3 DAC and as SPWONG wrote there is no output signal from the coax-output. I then wrote to Micromega and got this answer:

Dear Sir,

In the Stage 3 software you are able to shut OFF the digital output so no
signal is processing while you are using it in Stereo.

Please check this in the owner's manual

Theses products should work together

Well i really dont understand the answer because i in my manual there is no info about this. So if someone could help me so please write something
