Default digital sound from PC using t-amp?

I have lepai ta2020+ t-amp (no digital input, only RCA) with diy speakers. I have older chaintech av710 PCI sound card which has DAC built-in.

I have a PC about 2yrs old with motherboard with generic analog sound outputi I am wondering if using chaintech card (using analogout out on the card) connected to Lepa will result in better sound than one from motherboard?

Is there a way to get a good sound from my PC using Lepai amp if Chaintech card is too old?

Good sound from Davis, CA
