Default Philips CD880

Does anyone know the size of the Philips CD880 transport screws? I have someone interested in my unit, but have no idea what size of screw to use to lock the transport for shipping.

It's a CDM4 mech. I've received a lot of CDM4 machines through the post and none have suffered for lack of clamping screws. There's an internal screw that stops the deck from moving beyond limits.

It's a bit of a risk to send without clamping, but not nearly as risky as the wrong screws.

A bigger risk is total carnage from a ripped-out power transformer if the machine is dropped upside-down. Crushed corners are quite common. Wrap and position the power lead so it can't end up punched through the case. Remember anything sticking out will be squashed in. Use lots of soft packing inside a strong box. Don't use anything that makes crumbs. Make sure the player can't migrate to one end of the box.
