doe s the two cdp ( wich employ the same dac chip) output in tension or in current. in every case is it possible sewap the dac with a philips alwajs in stocjk without loss the legato link behaviour?
thanks cheers Paolo |
They are current output dacs, but it would be a very major job to integrate alternate dac chip circuitry in it's place. I would strongly suggest you find yourself a PD-S06, which is the one & only Pioneer stable platter player to have real LegatoLink + R2R ladder dacs. It uses PCM1702's, which, when supported properly w/power & output circuits, are absolutely wonderful dac chips. IMO, no Philips dac chip competes.
