Hi Peter,

Then why not build an outboard 1541 DAC using I2S with new I/V stage?

I'm building a 1541 DAC now and just ordered the double crown, too.

cheers

There is enough space inside for a new DAC.

I now too have entirely disassembled transport CD95. It will be completely advanced.
I shall alter the ground, I shall put everywhere BG, I shall make new DAC (TDA1541A/S2) for it with parallel stabilizers.
Three transformers...
