Default Marantz DV9500

Can someone that's done a transport replacemnt give me some advise. I ordered the transport from Marantz for my DV9500 and replaceed it yesterday. The new transport is the same, same connections ect.. but now I only get 2 ch , no multi output. I can go to the speaker level menu and run the level test. All speakers have output with no problems. All the setting are the same, did not change anything. I did notice when I was removing the solder blob that the entire laser and boards are of a higher grade the the orginal. The orginal looks like a very cheap unit where as the replacement looks updated. All red book and sacd's play fine, just will not give me multi-ch on SACD just stereo. I was wondering if the back-end software needs to be upgraded for the new laser. Any help would be great.

Again I answer my own post. The transport as bad, replacement works fine but now on some SACD's I get "Can not play". I understand there is a TSB for this issue. A add of a resistor between XTL1 and ground, but unsure of the value. I am just gussing but may be 2k~2.2k? If anyone has the TSB please let me know.
