I ordered myself a new soundcard from
csound.com 139$ with UPS Express shipping to anywhere in the world INCLUDED!!!!! This sure is rare. Anyway, of course I installed it quick and connected the end of the loopback cable Here are some of the results. I hope the filenames are informative enough.... http://f5.infonet.ee/ergo/WT2496_30102003/ Be sure to check the measurement of my non oversampling filterless DAC measurement *** If any of you are looking for a card for measurements I think this one is a winner at the moment. It's hard to beat the price performane ratio.... Ergo |

Hello Ergo,
Good thing with 96kHz card is that you can measure the non-o/s’s first (and partially second) set of images. You can compare your result (I hope you don’t mind I drew a bit) with this simulation (upper left graph). ![]() Anyway, your plots look fine, but what is the noise level in 24 bit mode? And, what’s your setup for non-o/s 1702? Pedja |

I added the noisefloor screenshots to the same address as noted before...
The FFT size is 32768 for all the above tests.. My non oversampling DAC resides in old Philips CD610 player. It gets the I2S signal from SAA7310 goes through some support logic and gets reclocked and sent to two PCM1702 DAC chips. The voltage to current conversion is accomplished with 680 ohm resistor. Unfortunately I don't have a digicam ![]() Ergo **feeling real good about my new soundcard** |
