How to replace a laser on an obsolete DCD1800?

Somehow I have been picking up pieces of equipment that are good looking and used to sound great.

This time I would really like to CPR my Denon DCD1800 CD player with a worn laser.

I would welcome any suggestiona and schematics!

You might have troubles finding replacement.The laser at this unit is relly unique.
