my cdplayer sony cdp-x5000's DAC have some problem

Hi , Soory nope. There exists also a Russian site with lot of Sony datasheets. I found it with Google searching for CXD2500. Don't let the Russian characters scare you!:idea:

But not the CXA8042, i guess it's an in-house-only chip...

The fly in the ointment with Sony is that not all their digital audio IC's come out of the semiconductor group.
