Crazy people around the world...TDA1541 S2

I recently saw a auction on Ebay where was sold a double crown TDA1541.... now it ended.. no comment can describe my surprise when I saw the final price!

Wow

It does seem that there are some people who think that the more money they throw at their system, the better it'll sound.

It doesn't bode well for ordinary DIY'ers when good components get into the hands of "Speculators".

If you don't let the demon

drive you crazy you can get something good for relatively cheap

.. guess who bought that CD931

Anyway the CD930 I bought for my brother costed almost the double...

Maybe Philips should consider to produce these DAC chippies again !? I think the profit will be larger than on an Athlon chip!
