In addition the left Channel is a bit louder than the right channel, but I might be wrong with that cause that's subjectively...

It just sounds like the deep tones are mixed with the highs and that sounds very strange. Sorry for the description, it's very complicated to describe that sound

Alright, that brings me some relief Thank you! I'm about 20-30 hours now and it already got better than a few days before but it's still there and hearable at a little higher volumes.
I'll wait then

And when it starts to sound good, the opa627s will show up in the mail...

Start the process again, to a degree.

Am listening to Miles Davis, with some brush action on the drums, and it sounds pretty clean, except for the hiss from the recording.

Hehe that's what I fear too but it's okay

The DAC already sounds much better It's still there but you can only hear it when you fucus on!

Does anyone know if the TE7022L board requires the usb 5 volts to function?

I am preparing an improved USB cable, and wanted to know if I need to buy a regulated P/S or not.

not sure if need to upgrade op amps on either or both items?
upgrade oscillator?
cm6631 for usb?

Whats the best sounding setup?
