Howdy, folks;

As the title suggests, my question is about my new (to me) CDV-1. Bought it as-is, for repair from a guy who thought it needed a new laser unit, which he provided.My tech is installing that, but the door open/close button is inop. You can open the door by pulling it out with the unit unplugged, then it closes normally when you plug it in.

Any thoughts or insights?
