Onkyo ND-S1 and Rockbox?

Anybody know if an Onkyo ND-S1 will work with Rockbox (on a 5g video)?
If not, any other alternatives for extracting digital from an ipod playing FLAC?

I know that ipod 5G works with ND-S1.
I really need to know if Rockbox works with ND-S1.

I dont think it will work with ipod video even without rockbox, pretty sure rockbox is all good, but there is a minimum model ipod/iphone it will work with. i'm not 100% sure on the model and if its across the board, but certainly thats the case with some of the newer ipod transports. does the onkyo list the minimum ipod requirements?

If you want one get it quick, the NDS1 is now discontinued apparently.

Download the datasheet from this page for compatible models:

Another new option is the Arcam DR Dock, this can even take an iPad.

the ND-S1 does work with 5G ipod, but with limited functionality (click wheel doesn't work).
I really need to know if Rockbox works with it. I've only found references where people said they thought it didn't work, but no one who seemed to know for sure.

It´s in german, but they mention that it worked with an iPhone 3rd generation
without problems, so I think there is a good chance it works with the 5g video too.
