i understand that pulling up means connecting to +5V, what i dont understand is WHY do i have to pull it? Does it enable the SPDIF out from 60?

I would never would have thought of insulting a person who contributed his great design to DIY community, esspecially not when he tries to help me with my prob.

I agree that i misread elso's previous message, and he 'd at me - it that was his choice.
