Hi There!
I wonder if anyone could tell me how to tweak CD63 so that the volume at analog output is set to zero when power is turned on. Then it would be a great Idea to use this player direct to an amplifier, but unfortunately i don`t have the scematic for this great player. If someone has it i would like a copy. Thanks, ManU |

I doubt you could change the switch-on behaviour of the volume - you'd have to alter the firmware, the volume control is part of the DAC and I'm not aware that one can change the switch-on behaviour.
Simple solution is to leave it turned on all the time - it will sound better and consumes little power. Bear in mind though that it will sound worse when the internal volume is set lower, as is often the case with digtitally implemented volume controls. Andy. |
