Cyrus CD drawer switch

I have a Cyrus dAD3 Q24 player, which I am putting back together after replacing the laser unit. But I'm not sure how/where the cam lever goes - I usually take photos to help, but neglected to take one of this piece's place. I've tried every position that seems reasonable, but the drawer will not close properly, or the switch does not operate. Here is the cam lever:

And here's the drawer, where it should fit somehow:

Anybody have a photo of how & where it should fit? Am I missing a crucial piece? I'm hoping that all Cyrus CD players are similar.

Ah - solved it! I thought the lever was supposed to press the micro-switch somehow.... but no! The microswitch is pressed by the tray edge, while the lever seems to be responsible for keeping the CDM unit in the right place during opening and closing.
