I am working on an A/D converter (to be used in a DIY harddisk recorder). The schematic can be seen here:
http://stiftsbogtrykkeriet.dk/~mcs/ADCon2.gif I would like some opamp suggestions (I don't plan to use 1458s ;-). The opamp has to run on 5V, and it has to have rail-to-rail inputs and outputs. It should also have overvoltage protection on the inputs - and sound good of course :-) The types that look best so far are the TI/BB OPA2340 and OPA2350. Has anybody tried those? Are there other types I should look at? Any other circuit improvement suggestions? Best regards, Mikkel C. Simonsen |
