Does anybody know much about these? What's inside them or how decent they are?

I wouldn't buy it, personally. Aside from the very strange fact that they say 24bit but not a word about max sampling rate(96kHz? 48?), the unit is not heavy enough to have a respectable, linear power supply, so they have a switching supply in a very small unit, meaning a big can of worms for HF noise pollution. I am way more comfortable with a wifi based unit, as it eliminates any chance of ps or ground noise pollution from the computer. I can say from upgrading Squeezebox Duets, and getting utterly superb results, that their feeble wifi-bashing is totally unjustified.
