That is one of the reason that I use a Battery. No (or less?) need for a superdooper power supply....

I have been comparing with a full blown version (so WITH power supply etc etc) and the clocks sound the same when you use a Battery

What do you mean the clocks sound the same when you use a battery? I'm not trying to criticise, I just probably didn't understand your phrasing...

As for your PCBs, I checked there, maybe it was yesterday, maybe a few days ago (can't remember), and they were out of stock, now that they're back I'm really considering it, they look nice.

uhhhh, the same, it means I could not tell the difference between a naked XO oscillator and a XO clock completely built up with the low noise power supply etc etc WHEN used on a 12 V Battery as power source..... So my conclusion is that in case of a Battery you can do without extensive power supply for the clock oscilator on the PCB, as this was "critisized" earlier in this thread....

Hope this is better ???

best regards

Cool Happy New Year!!!!

Well, it's the Chinese New Year today!!!

Is this project still on the back burner? I'm interested in a board.

Still, I have a DDDAC to finish in the meantime
(and my clones, and a pre-amp, and an active x-over)
