Sirs,
IŽam looking to build a DIY DAC using a BB PCM 1794 chip so I think a good start is a TI evaluation board, do anyone know where I can find a evaluation board for PCM 1792 and PCM1794? Thank you, |

I'd recommend you take a look at twisted pear audio's PCM1794 based board, likely a whole lot cheaper than the eval board for the 1794 if it is even still available..
Here: The COD - Current Ouput DAC And here is a suitable spdif receiver: The S/PDIF Transceiver Module I use one of these receivers and it works very well, and a heavily modified variant of their original bare board cod pcb. (Not too similar to how they did things)
