Default Hi-end SW configuration on Mac to play 24bit 96-192KHz tracks with DRC

Probably there are other threads about this but I don't find the information.

On Windows I am using Foobar2000 -> Convoler module for DRC -> ASIO or M2Tech driver, it is very simple.

Which is the best configuration on Mac ?

I have tested iTunes -> Audio HiJack -> LaConvolver -> ASIO or M2Tech driver but on HiJack I don't find the mode to set the wav file for the convolver

According to our test results, the following maybe worth considering

1. Mac Book Air (or Mac Mini) with battery power
2. Mac OS Lion (slightly better than Mac OS Snow Leopard)
3. Amarra or Channel D's Pure music player with iTunes
4. Re-nice the coreaudio to -9, software player to -9
5. Stop all unnecessary processes. e.g. Spotlight, Time machine, finder, net printer, network check and so on.
6. Use SSD if you could

Pure Music has audio plug-in function. I saw a friend using that doing digital cross over. Maybe it could do some likely room correction. Sorry I have no further details.
