Exchange DIR1701e

I need to exchange the dir1701e for an better one which one
Does the 1703 fit?

Hi, if you compare the datasheets you'll see that they are almost 'pin' compatible. However, pin 28 is grounded on the 1701 while on the 1703 it is used to select the system clock mode. The differences are described in the 'basic operation theory' section of each datasheet.
