Hi . i have a dac wich is powered from usb .
Would there be any sonic benefit to running it from a dedicated regulated 5 volt psu. Thanks for reading Kind Regards Ian |

I had a look at my usb meter and the 5 volts looks pretty clean.
But i do have it well decoupled. Its worth putting a scopr on the 5 volts to see if there is much noise on it. If there is decouple it better or provide an external power supply.
