from the CDpro2 users manual:
+5V Stop Mode = 120mA +5V Spin up/down & Jump = 180mA +5V Normal Play = 190mA +9V Stop Mode = 40mA +9V Spin up/down & Jump = 600mA +9V Normal Play = 120mA
