Hi!!
Just a quickie; I have a Sony 930, with a differential current output DAC chip (of sony's own production, 8055). The I/V stage is a 5238 dual op-amp (one opamp for each phase connected as 3rd order filters). I can't find no info about this opamp, but I suspect that it is in the 5534 etc... series of opamps. Therefore, I also supects that it has a bipolar inputstage. So, can I slip the FET-inputstage OPA2134 (or other FET opamps for that matter) right in or does the I/V conversion need a bipolar input? The pinout is the same on these two op-amps. The R's and C's network up front of the op-amp is quite low impedance. Thanks for your time! Stigla |
