SPDIF out from DVD/BD player to 2-CH DAC instead Multi-CH Processor - what happes ?
I observe in some cases, that no analog signal is present in such cases.
But OTOH - in some cases there is an analog stereo signal present, even in such cases, where on the BD or DVD is only DTS 5.1 or "Dolby Digital" (and no "Dolby Stereo") mentioned. What must be the correct behaviour? Is this behaviour also dependend from the implemented multichannel decoder software (in context to the behaviour of the S/P-DIF receiver chip e. g. CS84xx) or only from the audio codes on the discs resp. from the broadcast television station? Thank you for your advices. |
可能播放器内部把杜比或DTS多声道合并为立体声了.应该有声音设置菜单查询到,也可能光碟内容本身的声音 就只是立体声音频,而非DTS或杜比多声道..

That is imposed by the licensing... High res audio is banned at SPDIF output. Sometimes you can get it working by allowing to be down-converted - check the manual.

Yes, basically something like that can be done on most of the players.
