Hi all,
I own a cd-94 mkii Marantz which my girlfriend uses now. Sometimes the player produces a 'ticking' noise from the loudspeakers every 4 seconds. Sometimes she can play for hours and nothing happens. It happens more frequent on CDR's. Kinda hard to find a pattern of behaviour. Thanks in advance. |

At first, try to clean the lens with a cotton stick. Be very carefull not to touch something with your fingers inside the player (but touch the metal chassis before doing anything, to prevent ESD)
