I have an older Denon DCD 425 that has dim front panel display. I'd like to fix it so that I can see it during the day. I haven't torn the unit apart yet, but if the repairs are as easy as replacing the lamps on a Carver M-500, I'm in. Does anyone know what pats are needed, or how difficult it might be?

That might be problematic. Attached is the pinout in case that you want to check some voltages (filament voltage goes thru the switch SW501 contacts)... Also I had once in one player the capacitor for high-voltage dry-out.
