I was looking for a way on how to make a DIY " Optical In modification " for my Sony MHC-RV22. I have tried to study the schematic, but have too many doubts.
Don't know if I am right, kindly advise whether I can take a Coax Out from a External DVD Player and then solder the same on Digital in on PCM1748 DAC's pin 2 (Audio Data Digital Input). However I dont know Bit Clock Input at Pin 1. whether I have to use some kind of Flip Flop IC (7HC00 something) ? Still how will the MHC RV22 function whether I will hear music without pressing the PLAY button? I will be highly grateful if someone could please help me in my quest to play digital out WAV files from my Laptop. Kindly advise Best regards Claudio A Fernandes |
