CD63 mk2 KI - RCA Analog output Connector FIX
Hi All,
i am new at this forum and would like to ask a question. i have got a week ago i bought second hand the CD from marantz type CD63 mk2 KI(Not Modded yet :)), it is playing very well, the CDM12.1(i think) was replaced with a new one. the only thing is, when i connect my VDH cables to the CD Analog RCA connector the sound/signal is disconnecting and no sound heard. if i play with the interconnect rca connector then i can get it to work, i already replaced cable to verify it is not my VDH interconnect. how can i fix it, can it be only loss contact on the PCB or i need to replace the RCA connectors, and if yes where do i buy them online.... I Appreciate your response. Best regards Nir |
Dry joints on the connector mate. Common fault and easy to fix

Thank you for your reply....
Do I need to take out the PCB to fix it, or I can do it directly by just opening the cover and fix the dry joints? Thanks Nir |
Remove the PCB and resolder the connectors.
