hi all Alan here i have a marantz cd67se i fitted a pair of ic's so i could change opamps just by pulling then out i fitted a pair of burr brown 2107 but only got sound out of one speaker i could get the other speaker working by changing around the phono leads iv probaly mest up the soldering although i checked the curicits with my meter and they all seem ok, so i pulled the opamps and the cd started working out of both channals and sounded very nice although i have to use more volume.
what i would like to ask you all is this ok to use with out opamps in, is it likley to do any damage as i am quite happy with the sound for the time being untill i can find some one with more knowledge and better solding skills than me or i may look around for a a sell for parts one on ebay thanks for looking regards Alan // sweepy |
