I think that both of you build tremendus klocks and I urge Guido to make a DIY vertion of his XO-2 disregard the waranty, the DIY'er does not mind that much if he or she has to build a new one or repair the old one.

Actually, I think there is a dimension beyond the clock and it is the transport. Put an excellent clock in a unit with a cheaper transport, and one does not realise the gain in full. So far, my SCD777 with no clock mod beats all others with mods, even the sophisticated Marantz CD23 'pressure cooker' (looks like)
