Ok, i played around too much in my cd650, so now it is toast...
Seems i have killed the main cpu, it draws 0.6A from the powersupply unconnected and the xtal does not oscillate. And those cpu's are the only things i cannot repair, code is hidden inside. So now i am looking for someone with such a player which is beyond repair. Maybe i can trade the controller for something else (including money i guess). I am talking about the MAB controller which is on the main pcb next to the SAA7210 or if there is a daughterboard present, the one on that pcb. This would be in a philips/magnavox cd(b)650 or even the first mission cd player (saw a picture, main pcb = equal). Anyone? Thanx, GuidoB
