Question sony remote

HI All,
I have a sony mini disk deck JB-930 ,but no remote control .Could anyone please tell me of an alternative to the original remote that would operate the deck thanks in anticipation.

An MD recorder is too "unique" for an all in one to operate correctly...

I have no idea how much a new RC would be but could be silly money like £80 or so. Without trying one I wouldn't like to say but often with Sony any RC of the right series will work, so an RC from say an MDSJE480 might work. That's the RM-D10E handset.

These are two companies that might be able to quote for a new remote given the model number,

Try a harmony or a pronto. Many cheaper universal remotes will have the Sony MD codes as well, but often only basic controls.
