Default Yamaha CDX530E laser unit replacement

Hey guys, i've Yahama CDX 530E CD player in perfect condiction, but it can not read the most of burned discs or sometime Having trouble reading the number of tracks on a CD. I'm thinking of replacing Pickup laser unit (old SONY KSS-150A) with a newer KSS-210A or KSS212A. In your opinion, is insane or do I have to improve the situation. Special adjustments are needed, it is very difficult? Thanks
