I have just taken delivery of a Pioneer PD 9300 which I was going to use as a transport, but am having a problem with it skipping (on all discs) at about the 2 and a half minute mark of the first track, onto about the 1 and a half minute mark of the second track. There is also a noticeable 'tsk tsk' noise from the mechanism on some discs, like the disc hasn't quite loaded correctly and is spinning off balance. It selects between tracks (backwards and forwards) okay, just has the above annoying faults.
Any suggestions of easy things to try before returning for a refund? Many thanks. |
