I own a dac which has the famous CS8420 reciver which is doing upsampling to 24-96
I would like to try this dac in non upsampling mode. As I understand, on the pin 21 of the CS8420 (OMCK) there's a 24.576 mhz crystal. If I simply change it for a 11.2896 mhz crystal, will it automatically work in non upsampling 44.1 khz mode ? What about going from 24 bits to 16 bits with this chip ? It is perhaps unnecessary to bother with that . Thanks |
