Help tweaking a Yamaha CDC-655

I've spent the last year putting together a vinyl front end and after some critical listening a few nights ago, I realize how poor my CDP is. Are there any tweaks that can improve a Yamaha CDC-655 that anyone can guide me on? I haven't opened the thing up or been able to find a schematic on-line, but I'd like to swap out op amps or caps if anyone has any hints.

Well, I opened this CDP up to see if I could make heads or tails of it, but since I'm a digital dummy, I'm not sure of a reasonable upgrade path. Any ideas to get me started on a clock upgrade, output cap replacements, muting cap removal, or op amp replacements? Below is a pic of the board and a listing of the chips on the board, the last 2 of which I assume have no bearing on the signal path:

BA6286 motor driver
