The Jensen CI-2RR transformer is a (quite expensive) way
to equip the CD723 with an output filter (else it has none).
This will remove the strong 4fs (176khz) aliasing
(which else has the same amplitude as a 20kHz test sinus).

The player sounds pleasant with the transformer,
but the bass and highs were audible reduced.

Anyhow, the CD723 is imho one of the best sounding
cheap CDPs produced from an established company.
