The manuals will not help you locate a "Work Hardened" ribbon cable.

As far as the unit is concerned everything may be OK. It's just that the laser may be on a stiff "lead" and cannot accurately follow the positioning of the servo electronics.

This is just one of the components that a good enginner will keep in stock because it's impossible to test.

Yes, the focus search can up/down about 1 sec when switch on.

I have download the service manual yesterday,
then I follow the guiding of service manual to check the power supply voltage.

I found the -7V rise to -5.4V on IC NE532N.

I will check the reason why -7V rise to -5.4V tomorrow.

If you do have access to the service manual and a scope you might just see excessive drive voltages being produced by the servo electronics.

I do not understand German.so I can not understand the adjustmant about laser optical in service manual.
Who have philips cd200 service maunal in English?

according the site
http://www.marantzphilips.nl/philips_service_manuals/
there are only two languages available: German and Dutch (similar to German) and not english.
But Marantz CD73 (Marantz version of CD303) is in english but not so explicit than German instructions by CD303 SM.
You can the German text translate scan in in your computer, transform in "DOC"-file about Abbyy FineReader and upload here. Then any member can translate it for you (maybe even in your language from a member, who speak German and your language at the same time)

BTW - what tell you Mr. Heinrich Deppermann (go to post #6) ??

Regarding I looking for the service manual in the world wild web, the cd303 manual not include the adjustment of optical pick-up but cd200 was include.
so I rearch the cd200 maunal but almost Dutch, can not find English.
Mybe I can find Marantz CD73 manual today.
