I'll have to look it up to confirm but it depends where the text is encoded. Some of it is accessible through the P-W subcode but I think the larger CD Text region requires a controller with CD Text capability. |

i had 3 cd roms i listened to all of them then this one became it. I disassembled it and kept the rubber isolators on the cd module and now here it sit's now i want to build a audio buffer and see what it sounds like then a digital dac .. if that works out then go from there to a nice case top-loaded then a display : O )

Well as i listen to this cd player more and more i like it a-lot. My only problem is i cant tell what track i'm on or pause ir ot skip back only forward and play. Im wondering what my steps are ( im on a mac but have access to a pc and a programer maybe ) to get a display to work on this ide cd rom with out killing the sound from the audio out port. i can build every thing with no problems just need the path to follow..
I have a Optrex red display brand new just dim. Model number is C-51505 Tm005 If pictures are needed i can provide them..
