Marantz cd 10 repair!

Hello to everyone!

I have a Marantz cd 10 player which is not working corectly! When I press the power buton the spindle motor is spinning all time!

Somebody can help me with a suggestion?

You almost certainly have a power supply line gone dead, either from the supply, or an open 1-4.7ohm resistor feeding supply to a servo chip. So, check all of the low value resistors you see, check solder joints, especially under hot-running voltage regulator ic/transistors, and DEFINITELY replace any translucent-blue-plastic-wrapped Philips/Siemens electrolytic capacitors you see(pref. w/Nichicon).
Haven't seen that player myself, but it's listed transport/dac system suggests it should be a damn fine player, well worth keeping up.
