Onky integra DX-706 cd-player problem

For my Onkyo cd player i`m looking voor a cxd2500aq (CXD2500AQ (Sony Corporation) - CD DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSOR)

But where i look, i cant found ìt.

Please can you help me where to buy this component.

Hello Rick,

Are you sure this ic is defective?, they rarely break down.
The original AQ version is no longer available, but is replaced by the cxd2500BQ (onkyo part no.:22240487A)
Available in holland by ASWO or ASWO based webshops.

This ic is also used in a lot of different brands and players, I just don't know the exact types.

The really big problem with this player is the laserunit (SPU3011 or SPU3013), this is usually the cause of all kinds of problems.
But it's not available anymore! (it wasn't 10 years ago, and won't be now)

CD-player only produce noise and nothing more. Also digital output gives no any signal.
Is this the laserunit???

If it does read and play the disc correctly, it is not the laserunit, obviously.

Maybe you've got a problem with your D/A converter or digital filter, in this case I should dig a bit deeper in the servicemanual, I don't know the answer right away.
