Zen-like balanced output stage for voltage DAC

Is there a discrete Zen-like differential output stage for a voltage out DAC? The Wolfson WM8741 evaluation board uses an OPA2227. I only need balanced out an don't want opamps here. Any Ideas?

Transformers would be a very good option for balanced output.

Linn uses Lundahl LL1527 transformers with WM8741 in their Klimax DS network D/A processor with very good results.

Is there a schematic online? I use the Wolson DACs in dual mono mode.

errm a schematic? choose the TX well and its pretty much all you need

I prefer bifilar wound output transformers like the Jensens, but the Lundahl trafos are fine also. The Lundahls are constructed primarily with input duty in mind, but are fine if the self resonance and proper loading are dealt with.

For a great insight into trafos, go to the Jensen transformer website and read Bill Whitlock's article on audio transformers. It is loaded with useful info.

So what are you wanting? Just something to buffer the outputs?

the outputs got 2.5 VDC
any schematic without coupling caps
