I just came across a free audio player called FolderPlay. It supports WAV, LPCM, FLAC, APE/MAC, MP3, AC3, OGG, AAC and has a few more features, but nothing bloated. I have it running on my Nokia 5800 and it should work for all Symbian 9.1,9.2 & 9.4 devices, like Nokia N95, N96, N78, N79, N82, X6, Nokia 5800, N97, 5530, Sony Ericsson Satio, Samsung HD 8910i...
Have yet to determine if the hardware is capable of producing an audible difference, but I'm confident.
