Hello to all,
I want to upgrade power capacitors of my CDP Esoteric X-1s, the old power capacitors are Nippon Chemicon 3300uf/35v & 4700uf/35v.How do capacitor is better? Help me! ( My English is very bad! i'm sorry) Thanks a lot everyone and good luck. |

The only caps more reliable & also better performing than the ChemiCons are the upper grades of Nichicon, e.g., KG, FG, Muse, etc. There are other brands that might at first perform as well, but none more long term reliable than Nichicon. Go with the largest uf value that will fit of same or higher voltage rating. I always go with 3x or more of original value.
